American Football and Helmets on the Field
Game on…

It’s baaaack! The Florida Georgia Football rivalry returns to Jacksonville’s EverBank Field on November 1st for another historical face-off and Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort invites you to share in all of the college football fun. As one of the most prominent rivalry games in college football (played almost every year since 1915), this year’s matchup promises to be another barn-burner with the Gators looking to avenge last year’s 23-20 loss to the Bulldogs. No matter who you’re rooting for that weekend, Omni Amelia Island Plantation promises to be your central hub for game day entertainment. Whether you’re looking for accommodations, game day transportation, or the year’s biggest pool bash, OAIP’s got what you need.

Celebrate the weekend in style by booking the Florida Georgia Football Classic Package online. Enjoy luxurious oceanfront accommodations, transportation to and from Saturday’s game, along with an arrival amenity and two tickets to the Florida-Georgia Pool Party. Find a link to the package here, but hurry, rooms are booking fast!

FL/GA Bash

Back by popular demand, (seriously, you guys have been asking about them for years) the “Swingin Medallions” are returning to Omni Amelia Island Plantation to kickoff our very first FL/GA Bash. Catch them Friday, October 31st starting at 7pm as they perform live from the largest pool deck in Northeast Florida! We’ll be hosting a costume contest as well, so be sure to sport your alma mater’s colors or deck yourself out in your favorite Halloween costume. And get this…The FL/GA Bash will be open to the public, so come one, come all! Tickets are available online at www.flgabash.com. Each ticket includes two drink vouchers and additional food and beverage items will be available for purchase that evening.

Additional Specials

Other weekend specials include a 50-minute Gator Scrub or Bulldog Rub at the Spa for only $99. Enjoy a three tea, ginger and sugar scrub or a gentle rhythmic massage designed to relax the body, reduce muscle tension and increase circulation. Depending on the outcome of this year’s game, a gentle rubdown might be just what your bruised and forlorn ego needs to repair itself following a loss.

Enjoy a weekend sale down at the Shops of Amelia Island Plantation as well. From October 31st through November 2nd, all customer’s will receive 20% off of any item with orange, blue, red or black in it at either Harrison’s Mercantile, Amelia’s Signature Shop, or Natural Slice.

Game day transportation will also be available on November 1st both to and from the game. Tickets are $80 a piece and include 2 tailgating beverages. Game day buses will depart the resort from Racquet Park at 12pm and will depart 30 minutes following the end of the game. For tickets, call 904.261.6161.
