The charming and historic town of Fernandina Beach on Amelia Island offers great restaurants, shopping and activities but it also offers an array of local Amelia Island bars, pubs and night spots to enjoy an adult beverage, live music and socializing. The small town boasts a wide variety of bars from the laid back Green Turtle Tavern to the traditional Irish pub O’Kanes or the new Salty Pelican where you can catch the sunset over the Amelia River with an ice cold drink and plate of fresh oysters. Here’s a list of my top ten recommendations for a night out on the town but check out the other great locations around Centre Street or ask a local for a recommendation.
