Ever wondered what it might be like to play in Omni Amelia Island Plantation’s backyard? What if you could tee off from two championship golf courses, perfect your tennis game on 23 pristine clay courts, or dine at nine exclusive resort restaurants. Many of the activities offered at the Omni Amelia Island Plantation are reserved for resort guests, or guests of the Villas of Amelia Island Plantation and members of the Amelia Island Equity Club, but local residents can now enjoy some of the amenities as well. The 1,300 acre oceanfront resort is now offering Northeast Florida and Southeast Georgia residents* the opportunity to enjoy some of their private amenities for a nominal annual resort pass fee starting at $200 per year.

 

Omni Amelia Island Plantation features 3.5 miles of uncrowded beach, world-renowned golf, award-winning tennis, a wide selection of gourmet and casual dining options, a nature-inspired spa, shopping village and an array of recreational activities. The resort has received the AAA 4-Diamond Award every year since 1980 and was recently named one of the top 121 golf resorts in the world by Conde Nast Traveler and one of the top five tennis resorts in the world by Tennis Resorts Online.

Access to the hotel’s pools and Seaglass Lounge is only granted during overnight stays.

Golf

The Omni Amelia Island Plantation Resort offers 36 holes of championship golf including the stunning Oak Marsh, designed by famed golf architect Pete Dye. Ranked as one of the “Top 75 Resort Courses in the U.S.” by Golf Digest, Oak Marsh meanders along serpentine salt marsh creeks and moss-draped heritage oaks. The resort is also home to the famed Ocean Links course, designed by Pete Dye and Bobby Weed. Named as one of the “50 Best Courses for Women” by Golf For Women and featured recently on The Golf Channel’s “Big Break” series, its five oceanfront holes and constantly-shifting ocean breeze make for exhilarating views and intriguing play.

 

Tennis

Omni Amelia Island Plantation was recently ranked as the No. 1 Tennis Resort in the world by Tennis Resorts Online. Situated among the shaded live oaks of Racquet Park and home to the Cliff Drysdale Tennis Program at Amelia Island,  this first class tennis facility features 23 Har-Tru® fast-dry clay courts and offers professional instruction, including group clinics and personal lessons. Resort Pass Holders are eligible to play on teams that represent the Amelia Island Plantation in league play.

 

Recreation

The property offers a wide array of fun and relaxing recreational amenities as well. The nature-inspired Spa & Salon offers premium services and retail items at a discounted rate to Resort Pass holders. If you’re looking for something more adventurous, the resort have Segway™ tours and bicycle and Island Hopper rentals to explore miles of trails. We also offer youth, teen & family recreation programs, as well as a nature tours. Our nature tours range from birding, beach walks and crabbing to kayaking, paddleboarding and archery.

*Resort Pass is valid for one year from date of purchase, is non-transferable, non-refundable and has no cash value. Resort Pass is applicable only to purchaser. A valid ID may be required. A lost or stolen Resort Pass is the responsibility of bearer. Resort Pass benefits excludes the Health & Fitness Center, Amelia’s Wheels and Poolscape with the exception of registration for Camp Amelia. Additionally there are no discounts for Natural Slice, Oceanside and Seaglass Lounge. The Resort Pass is not available to property owners and residents in Club designated areas, south of the Fernandina Beach Airport and Bill Melton Road, including Amelia Island Plantation, Summer Beach, Crane Island and Brady Point Preserve. Sales are exclusively for primary residents of Nassau (as described), Duval, St. Johns and Flagler counties in Florida, and Camden County in Georgia.

      Thank you for inquiring. Unfortunately access to the pool and fitness center is only granted for guests of the resort/villas or club members. Majority of Restaurants are open to the general public.
